About London Wine Girl

My connection to wine begins with a family story that reaches back more than a century. My great-grandfather was among the early merchants to export wine from Türkiye, carrying the character of Anatolian vineyards to tables beyond its borders. That legacy has always felt close to me- not as something formal or distant, but as part of a family culture built around craft, hospitality, conversation, and an instinctive appreciation for pleasure.

Wine is about atmosphere, memory, texture, and place. A bottle can hold the warmth of a landscape, the discipline of a producer, the rhythm of a season, and the intimacy of a moment. It has a way of revealing itself slowly- through scent, structure, emotion, and the stories it leaves behind.

London Wine Girl is a modern expression of that inheritance. It offers a space for thoughtful tasting notes, elegant pairings, travel discoveries, vineyard stories, and reflections from London’s restaurants, cellars, and wine bars.

My goal is to make wine feel intelligent, beautiful, and inviting- sophisticated without being intimidating, sensual without being excessive, and informed without losing its charm. Whether you are a devoted wine lover, a curious beginner, or simply someone who enjoys the pleasure of discovering something memorable, London Wine Girl offers a graceful way to explore the world of wine.

From the ancient vineyards of Türkiye to the cellars of Europe and the candlelit tables of London, this is a continuation of a family story- told through places, people, and bottles worth lingering over.
